The 1200 Rupees Group Initiative is a community-driven program by Donate Aid Society where individuals contribute ₹1,200 each to collectively fund impactful social welfare activities for underprivileged communities. The initiative operates under "Project Disha," dedicated to the upliftment of Adivasi Katkari tribal communities. Key activities include: educational support (stationery for tribal children), mid-day meal support through the Saksham Project, cultural & community activities during festivals, science learning initiatives with experiment materials, a mobile library to promote reading habits, and women empowerment through skill development centers. The program focuses on generating awareness about education and health, providing learning opportunities for tribal children, organizing health action programs for Katkari people, and imparting skill sets to youth and women for employment opportunities.
